WHO DO WE HELP?
Through our work, we help to restore a sense of self and aspiration, in members of society that have been affected by systemic injustice. We strive for meaningful transformation, by instilling confidence in each individual, to help them imagine what is possible and create a better future for themselves.
Our vision is to reimagine life, shape a better future, and live beyond common limitations. By focusing on the Human Capital of society and the lack of Economic Development, Marginalized and Justice-Involved Individuals, have an opportunity to improve their Socioeconomic Status. Self-Determination by way of Dignity Restoration are some of the ways we combat limited education, poor health, unemployment, etc.

Koinonia Parks was formed in 2012, became incorporated (California) and received its 501(c)(3) status in 2022. We operate in the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles, California, the Belize Central Prison in Belize, Central America and Guinea, West Africa (2026). This unique nonprofit organization inspires and empowers individuals to feel motivated toward creating brighter futures for themselves and impacting the world! Our Social Entrepreneurship model is niche, with its approach to the development of National and Global Communities, by re-socializing one individual at a time.
